We'll spend 3 days in Hobart staying at the lovely Salamanca Wharf Hotel. By day we'll explore the Salamanca Market, MONA - the Museum of Old and New Art, Bruny Island by boat... by night our goal, amongst other things, is to capture the amazing Aurora Australis.
From Hobart we'll jump in our hire-car and make our way to Pumphouse Point at Lake St. Clare - the deepest lake in Australia - staying in the restored Pumphouse situated at the end of a long, eerie jetty. It looks simply breathtaking!
A three hour drive to Cradle Mountain is where we'll call home for the following two nights. If all going well and nature is on our side we'll arrive and/or wake up with snow in our front yard... let's see! Rounding out our stay is a helicopter ride and Tassie Devil feeding session - awesome!
The last two days will be spent cruising the countryside enjoying some of the best food and wine Tasmania has to offer. Staying in Launceston on the Tamar River we'll have ample to take in the scenery and reminisce on what will have been the most spectacular and fantastic week of our lives. We honestly can't wait! :)
