We are so excited to be visiting these amazing locations.
In French Polynesia, we are staying on the island of Huahine and Bora Bora for a week, hopping between them with Air Tahiti. There we plan to do a snorkeling and jetski tour, rent a car to explore mountain and beaches, and just enjoy relaxing, swimming and having nice food by the beautiful blue lagoon!
In Japan, we will visiting during the fall foliage season. We are going to start off with 4 days in Tokyo, with a side trip to beautiful temples and fall colors of lakes and waterfalls in Nikko or the hot spring town of Hakone. Then we travel on the a lovely town called Kanazawa on the Sea of Japan, and will take the bullet train across the country. It is known for a beautiful castle and garden, and a well preserved and active historic district. We will then travel to the Japanese Alps for 3 days, and stay at Ryokans (traditional Japanese lodging) with hot spring baths. From there we will head to Kyoto, and stay right in the Geisha district. We plan to do a tea ceremony, and to explore beautiful landscapes, cafes and temples. We will cap things off with a stay in Osaka to explore the night market and great food. So excited for this adventure and can't wait to share photos with you all!
