Hello friends and family,

Once upon a time long, long ago in the year 2019, Russ and I decided to get married in the year 2020. We wanted to get married on the magical date of 10/10/2020, and have the biggest party with all of our friends and family. We were excited and starting to plan things, and, we just had a really good feeling about the year ahead, you know? 2020 was going to be a BIG year somehow, we could feel it....We got this fabulous wedding venue in Tigard locked down in January.... I had save the dates made in February.....

Cut to: 2020 is the craziest year that's ever happened and we are now planning a covid-wedding! We want to keep our magical date, and kind of feel like everything happens for (typically) good reasons anyway, so we might as well keep ours. While we do plan on celebrating with a big party when it's safe again, we will be having a micro-wedding with a very intimate group of family and friends in Cannon Beach this fall. We will be broadcasting the event on facebook so that you can all virtually be there with us, and we can't wait to party with you all on a bigger scale soon!

In the meantime, if you'd like to contribute to our honeymoon fund, that is the only "gift" we could ask for. We hope to be able to go to Hawaii whenever it's safe to and have a proper honeymoon, and we greatly appreciate anything that helps us get there!

Thank you for sharing this special time with us, even if it's from afar! And just know that 1. we will all party together soon again when it's safe, and 2. Russ and I are the kinds of ridiculous people that probably need two weddings anyways since we're a little "EXTRA".
