Honeymoon: Baja grey whale watching in Mexico

If you haven't heard, one of our (Amy Jane's) most favorite things in the world is whale watching. Upon her arrival to the beautiful PNW, Amy Jane fell in love with watching our local orcas and greys and goes several times a year.

 

About a year ago (thanks Discovery Channel!), we found a place down in Baja California, Mexico that is world renowned for their grey whale watching tours. The resident grey whales are so used to the tour boats, they actually come right up to the boat for pats on the head and to show of their new offspring (Amy Jane lost her mind over this).

 

We're going to take a small road trip down the PNW coast to Nevada City, CA shortly after the wedding, but this will be our big honeymoon in Spring of 2018.
