How It All Started...

It was Tijay's 24th birthday. There was a surprise dinner at Red Lobster for him with with friends including Courtney. She was actually invited by one of Tijay's friends and not by Tijay himself. It was a normal dinner with happy birthday wishes, eating, laughing, and having a good time.

 

When everyone was leaving, Courtney had baked some cookies just for his birthday (which he believes till this day were just leftovers). She handed the ziploc bag of cookies to him and as he tried to receive them, they were dropped. Of course, he quickly picked them up embarrassed. As always, Courtney was forgiving and didn't make a big deal about it.

 

Feeling bad about it and wanting to apologize, Tijay asked his friend for Courtney's number. As soon as he hit "send" on his phone texting Courtney for the first time, they never stopped. Thank you Tijay for dropping Courtney's birthday cookies.
