Regarding hotels, the La Quinta is near the Oakway Center (a large, fairly new shopping center with Trader Joe's, restaurants, and shopping) and near our home in the Coburg Road area, as is the Hyatt. The Best Western and the Hilton are closer to the University and downtown, which has advantages in terms of exploring Eugene.
