The day after our wedding we are embarking on the European Adventure we have always wanted to take.We land in Edinburgh July 17th in the early hours of the morning and from there plan to explore Edinburgh and Glasgow before making our way down to England. In England we are so excited to be taking the Warner Bros. Harry Potter tour (Sam's favourite childhood books were Harry Potter), take in Stonehenge, tour around London, and visit Sam's origins in Cornwall. This part of the trip is super important to Sam, as she has never been to Great Britain to see where her family is from. From England we cross into Belgium for a quick one-day tour of Bruges. We are most looking forward to chocolate and waffles :). We kick off France in Normandy, visiting D-Day sites and Mont St. Michel. We have two days to explore Paris, and cannot wait to have some pain au chocolat. A day in the Loire Valley will have us exploring castles, and then we are off to the French Riviera. This will result in much needed Beach time, a visit to ritzy Monaco, and we will end up in Cinque Terre, Italy. We have wanted to visit here since the early days of our relationship and cannot wait to hike the trails. After a nature fix we head into the heart of Italian history- Florence. As a History Major in University, Sam cannot wait to see all of her courses come to life. Rome will be a two day adventure, which will lead to Pompeii. We have a few days to explore the Amalfi Coast (Sorrento, Positano) and relax by the sea before heading to a Venice where we conclude our adventure. We have all the pots, pans, glasses and vacuums we could possibly need, so we are asking for you to help up with paying for the attractions. The costs for these add up fast, and we want to take VIP tours for some attractions so we see the most possible. Any money we end up not using we will donate to a local animal shelter to purchase supplies for the animals, and will be sure to post pictures of this.
