Seattle, WA, United States
Hannah and Amanda are getting married on Friday the 13th of October. As their wedding date would suggest, they are drawn toward anything spooky and unusual. For their honeymoon they will visiting Seattle, Wa to explore the darker side of the Emerald City. They plan to patron such shops as the Gargoyles Statuary, Edge of the Circle Books, Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, and Uwajimaya. They'll also be vising the Seattle Metaphysical Library, the Tsubaki Grand Shrine, a nerdy gamer bar called AFK, and going on a ghost story train ride.
This is the trip they've always wanted but could never justify. Not enough money, not enough time, not enough information. But come October 21st, none of those things will be an excuse anymore. Hannah and Amanda will head out west on an adventure to strengthen their friendship and love as well as stimulate their spirituality and creativity. They look forward to the touristy stuff (such as the Space Needle, the Fremont Troll, and the Museum of Pop Culture) but are also excited about the small things. There is a piece of the Berlin wall in front of a cafe; there's a Carnival themed bar with a dish called Narwhal balls; there's a pool on the floor level of the Marriott where they will be staying. And of course, there will be plenty of time to just look and listen.
Most of the items on their 'to do' wedding list aren't very expensive. However, those things do tend to add up. As it stands right now, Hannah and Amanda would appreciate a little help from their friends to make this trip as stress free and fun as possible. Instead of stressing over the ticket price to get into the Seattle Immersive Theater's adult only haunted house, they could be stressing out over the creepy clowns lurking in the corner. Instead of hanging out the hotel due to lack of funds to go exploring, they can run back to the hotel as a place to recharge between adventures.
The hotel is already taken care of - a very generous cousin has arranged for them to stay for five nights in Issaquah - and they are working to budget out the rest of the trip. Any help you can lend would be very appreciated. If you do choose to donate, please let us know what you would like the money to go toward. For instance you could pay for a plate of Narwhal balls or for a few gallons of gas so that Hannah and Amanda can drive up to AFK and play My Little Pony Monopoly while slugging back some Vulcan beer. They appreciate anything you can do. Every little bit helps. And if you aren't able to donate money, then they ask you to share kind thoughts and positive energy.
Thank you. Blessed be,
