Dear Friends and Family,

We invited you to our wedding to celebrate with you the first moments of our marriage. By joining us for that, you would make us the happiest couple imaginable. If you are unable to attend, we still appreciate your friendship more than words can express. Either way, thank you for the role you play in our lives. We sincerely hope you feel no obligation to give us any wedding gift other than your well wishes and, if possible, your presence at our wedding.

At the same time, some of our guests suggested we create a wedding registry. Somewhat bashfully, we did so. We don't need any more material things, so we listed some of our near-term savings goals that relate to family and our honeymoon. If you find anything on our registry to be a suitable outlet for your generosity, we humbly thank you.
