Gabriel was my 18 year old high school sweetheart ☺️ He waited for the bells to ring before he proposed to me on the steps of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at midnight on December 25, 2007 in my hometown of Raymondville,TX right before walking in to midnight Mass. I could not have pictured a more beautiful image than him kneeling before the steps of God. Gabriel and I made a promise to each other that has taken almost a decade to fulfill. Our journey towards planning a wedding began, but it didn't quite fit the typical timeline or image that others often envision. We had been blessed with a spiritual connection long before we even knew what was to come. This brought us even closer together during the lowest point in our lives when we needed Him the most. To all of you who experienced the memories with us, we are finally able to have the wedding we've always wanted. At the beginning of this year, we saved just enough money to make it happen. It is far from glamorous or spectacular, but it is ours. We will be married on June 4, 2017 atop the scenic Chapel Dulcinea in Austin as our closest friends and family witness the event. Although our celebration will be small, yet intimate, we would like to extend our appreciation and love for all of you who shared in this journey with us. Many of you have seen the happiness, sadness, obstacles, and blessings which have made us grow closer than we ever thought was possible. We were blessed to have incredible people experience the bits and pieces of our life that brought us here today; to ALL the students I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, the co-workers who became the closest friends we've ever had, the many people who were destined to cross paths with our beautiful story who believed in our abilities, and most importantly, the two indescribable blessings that transformed our lives into something much greater than we could have ever imagined-this one is for you. Gabriel and I have made our house a home over the years and have everything we could possibly need except for the experience to spend some time away together. We would be forever grateful to have you all help us in a small gift of giving towards a honeymoon. We are humbled to be able to share a piece of our life with all of you. Thank you and God bless.
