Hello friends and family,

We are so excited to begin our lives together, and are even more excited that each and every one of you gets to play a part in our story. In preparing for our big day and planning for our future, we have done lots of dreaming about what's in store for us. We've talked about many things, from new linens and dishes to furniture and flat screens; but one thing has always stood out to us above and beyond any material item or electronic luxury. The single topic of conversation that excites us the most is the moment we purchase our very first home.

To Haley and I, a house is so much more than just a roof over our heads; it is a physical manifestation of the life we are building together. To us, a home is a safe place, a place of love and happiness, and a representation of our future.

We feel that it is very important to explain exactly how we would be using any monetary gifts, and that is the reason that we chose to setup this page. If we are prepared to ask our loved ones for money, we wanted to be able to share precisely why we are doing so, and communicate with you the emotional value that any dollar gift would truly represent.

By choosing to gift us monetarily, please know that you are aiding in the actual beginning of our new 'together' life, and the evidence of your immense contribution will be apparent from the very moment we walk through the door of our first home, not as individuals, but as one.
