Truth be told, we have much to do to start our new life together with Carolyn moving to Kentucky, our buying a house, and getting settled. The idea is to take a short honeymoon, and around our first year anniversary, take the honeymoon of our dreams - a tour through Europe, starting in Scotland!

Want to know how it all began?
Actually, at the high school talent show. When an unknown but spectacular 70's band of seniors appeared on stage, Carolyn's eyes fixed on the lead guitarist with an immediate prayer. And, who was this never before seen guy?!? Fascinated, she kept watch around the school from that moment on.
On the other hand, Eric first noticed Carolyn when one morning when she walked by and directed a cheerful "Hello!" to him as he hung out with friends near her home room. A true friendship and sincere love thus slowly began over the Fall and Winter months. We were one Ring Dance couple who cherished a sweet and loving place in our hearts for one another even as we parted to pursue different paths mid-way through college.
"I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD. plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)
So, after 46 years of individually full lives, God has brought us back together. We've both grown and changed, yet we've both maintained much of the character, idiosyncrasies, creativity, life purposes, and joi de vivre that originally attracted us to one another.
Some of you knew us then, many of you know one of us now, and we hope all of you will continue to be a part of our growth together in the coming years. That's why you are reading this now. You are important to us and we want to share our joy now and ongoingly with you as you have contributed in many ways to who we are today.
Thank you for all you have given to us. Whether or not you are aware of the impact you have had and continue to have on us, you have contributed finally to Eric and Carolyn coming together as husband and wife in our Lord Jesus Christ! We can't wait to share and celebrate our wedding vows and commitment with you!
