"YOU'RE ALREADY MARRIED?"

Yep. See, what had happened was:

We eloped to Vermont over Labor Day.

It was a scheduled to visit Katie's mom. No intention of eloping. But a few days before leaving, someone asked Katie, "So are you two gonna get married while you're up there?" Uh, no.

But after thinking about it, figured WHY NOT? It was perfect for us.

Darlings, if you're sad/mad/disappointed/miffed that you didn't know before we did it and/or weren't invited: that's what eloping is, precious. You hurt everyone's feelings so no one's feelings get hurt. We didn't tell ANYONE. So unpeel those wadded panties and go eat your feelings if you need to. We'll be here when you get back.

I CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE PARTY! WAH! Yep. We're sad too. Now go change your schedule so you can attend.
