Greetings friends and family,

It's no secret that Ty-Juana and I are extreme lovers of black, brown culture. It pervades every aspect of our relationship and is one of the many ties that bind us together as true soulmates.

But to be truly honest, it's quite practical and convenient for us as black cultural enthusiasts to bask in the beauty of our browness in a space filled with familiarity and comfort. But it's something altogether different to venture beyond the comfort of our current surroundings to the place from which our origins sprung centuries ago. I'm talking AFRICA. Nairobi, Kenya to be exact.

As we start our journey as husband and wife, we can think of no better place to celebrate our union than our homeland - Mother Africa. We will spend 7 glorious days basking in the beauty and bounty of Kenya. Traveling the streets and marketplaces. Dashing through the bushy terrain of Nairobi National Park.

Of course, all of this requires money. Gobs of it. And for all of you who are pondering the perfect wedding present, we implore you to look no further. Obviously, your presence at our special day is a gift we truly cherish and honor. However, if you feel so inclined, we're asking any and all who are willing to consider tithing toward our journey.
