Hello friends and family,

We are honored you will share in our special day. Thanks for taking a look at our registry! Many people have asked over the years why Dave and I call each other "Beet" so I thought I'd unwrap the mystery for you all! It came from "baby" which turned into "beebie" which led to "beebeet", then "beet" for short. What solidified and brought special meaning to it was a quote we heard while watching Ken Burns' documentary on Jazz. Dizzy Gillespie (Dave played trumpet) was asked about his musical relationship with Charlie Parker ( same bday as Andi) he said "He is the other half of my heartbeat". From that day forward we were Beet to each other and find it odd now to ever say each other's given names. #lovebeets

So now that you have our history...In lieu of physical wedding gifts we decided donations would be most appreciated. We are hoping to raise funds for an International honeymoon somewhere exotic! We also have a home in Pasadena from 1922 that still needs a good amount of updating (hot tub!), so any amount you give will be put to good use.
