Both of us have been living on our own for many years. We each moved out of our family home at the age of 18 and have been living on our own ever since. Individually we have collected everything we need for a home together and once we combine it all, we have far too much!

We have always been the people and couple who love exploring new places and making new memories. Traveling is our passion. Ben cannot take too much time off work for a full honeymoon, but we hope to escape the Lower 48 for a mini honeymoon in July.

Our Tentative Plans for July, 2020 Mini Honeymoon:

- Fly United to Anchorage, Alaska from Colorado

- Small flight from Anchorage to King Salmon

- Alaskan Lodge in King Salmon stay

- Ground transportation to a small lake outside of King Salmon

- Canoe to Katmai (requires 2 nights of backcountry tent sleeping near the lake)

- Arrive in Katmai! Visit Brooks Falls

- 2 nights camping in Grizzly country! (Surrounded by an electric fence, of course)

- Bush plane out of Katmai to King Salmon

- Alaskan Lodge stay

- Flight back to Anchorage

- Flight back to Colorado

Brooks Falls is famous for it's bear population. Hundreds of Grizzly bears make the annual migration to this area to feast on the salmon spawning during the month of July. This trip has been a bucket list item for us.
