Hello all of you wonderful, dear friends and family! We have an update for you about our honeymoon plans. At the crack of dawn on Monday morning we board a flight that will take us to Seattle, Washington! From Seattle we are taking a ferry across the water to the charming town of Port Townsend where we will spend three nights at a seaside inn called the Tides Inn and Suites. (Fun Fact- The Tides Inn and Suites was used in filming the movie An Officer and a Gentleman!) After our three nights in Port Townsend, we take the ferry back to Seattle for two nights at the Edgewater Hotel. Now, this is the part we are most excited about- on 12/23 we board a train to take us to Monterey, CA for Christmas, and we got literally the LAST room on the sleeper car. We have wanted to take an over night train trip forever and so are happy to fulfill this dream on our honeymoon. A change of plans overall, but we couldn't be more excited.
