ABQ Bio Park- Enjoy fun, educational experiences at the Zoo, Botanic Garden, Tingley Beach, and Aquarium. https://www.cabq.gov/culturalservices/biopark

Sandia Tram- A trip on the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway transports you above deep canyons and breathtaking terrain a distance of 2.7 miles. The observation deck is atop 10,378 foot Sandia Peak in the Cibola National Forest affords an 11,000 square-mile panoramic view of the Rio Grande Valley and the Land of Enchantment. http://www.sandiapeak.com

Breaking Bad Tours- Breaking bad was filmed on location here in Albuquerque. There are at least three ways to take a tour.

Tinkertown- Tinkertown Museum is a folk art museum created over 40 years. Miniature wood-carved figures are showcased in Tinker town Museum including a 1880's miniature animated western town & three-ring circus.What was once a four-room summer cabin has been transformed into a 22-room legacy showcasing the genius of one man's life work. Old Town Ghost Tours- Old Town is the birthplace of Albuquerque, founded in 1706, and for more than three centuries people have lived and died around the Old Town Plaza. Hot Air Ballon Rides- Albuquerque is known for Hot air balloons. Several companies offer daily hot air balloon rides. TripAdvisor has a great list.

Casinos- Albuquerque has numerous Casinos. Sandia Casino is the closest to our house. Find a list of others close by on TripAdvisor.

Wineries and Breweries- Albuquerque has a ton of microbreweries and wineries.
The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History- Los Alamos is home of the atomic bomb. This museum takes you through the atomic age.

Hinkles Family fun center and Cliff’s amusement park- Fun for kids, the family fun Center has everything from Games, go Karts, and Laser tag. Cliffs in smaller amusement park complete with a few roller coasters.

Santa Rosa Blue Hole: Dive, Swim or just admire this natural wonder. Blue Hole appears in the midst of the desert like a great blue gem. Approximately 1hr 45mins from Albuquerque. http://santarosabluehole.com/index.html

Santa Fe: Experience Santa Fe's unique mix of old world charm with a contemporary vibe.

Loretto Chape Spiral Staircase: Two mysteries surround the spiral staircase in the Loretto Chapel: the identity of its builder and the physics of its construction.

Roswell: Alien crash site of 1947???
Check out the International UFO Museum and Research Center, private guided tours of the “crash site, and hanger were they claim to have taken the bodies. Approximately 3hrs from Albuquerque.

Fort Sumner: Grave site of Billy the Kid and old wild west town. Approximately 2hrs and 20 mins from Albuquerque.

Taos: Ziplining, Chairlift rides you can hike or ride down, Taos Pueblo Tours, White water rafting, Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. Approximately 2hrs and 20mins from Albuquerque.

Las Vegas NM: thats right, New Mexico has its own Las Vegas. It was an old wild west town that is home to the Montezuma Hot springs and much more. Things to check out; Douglas/6th Street district, Lincoln Park, Santa Fe Trail Walking Tours, Railroad District and the Lake. Approximately 2 hours from Albuquerque.
