Gabrielle & Marin's Love Story ...

We first met in 2017 at a bar when Gabrielle was studying abroad in Grenoble, France. We chatted for 20 minutes and exchanged information. After that, we didn’t see each other for 2 years but still kept in touch. We were penpals for a short while, sending each other books and letters. In 2019 after Gabrielle finished her undergraduate degree, we decided to meet in Costa Rica to adventure together for 6 weeks. It didn’t take long for us to realize that we go pretty well together. We worked through the distance and being separated by the pandemic until Gabrielle was finally able to make her way back to Grenoble, where we were just married on July 16, 2021.

We are back in the states for the summer and are happy to spend time with family and to celebrate our marriage with all of you. Since we will be returning to France at the end of August and are not able to squeeze a toaster or a blender into our luggage, we created this "honey fund" for our friends and family to contribute to if they wish.

We are excited to see everyone on July 31 and to toast with you to our marriage!
