A bit of a foreword about this wedding, white-tent-party, pig roast-picnic you were just invited to!...
LOCATION
The wedding and reception location is at Ann and Adam Cathers’ home: 201 Grove Road, Elverson, PA. Ann and Adam are very good friends of ours who selflessly opened themselves and their beautiful farmhouse and surrounding pastoral acreage for our wedding location!
RECOMMENDED ARRIVAL TIME
Arrive between 2:30 – 3:00 pm as the wedding ceremony will begin as close to 3:30 pm as possible.
PARKING
Because we want to maximize the beauty of the location, parking will be located at Ebenezer Bible Church at: 289 Warwick Furnace Rd, Elverson, PA 19520.
If you will be joining us and there is more than one of you in your car, we recommend that you drop off your passengers (and lawn chairs – see the next section below) at 201 Grove Road and then continue on to the parking lot at Ebenezer Bible Church. There you will “park and ride” via a passenger van that will shuttle you back to the Cathers’ Farmhouse.
BRING YOUR FAVORITE LAWN CHAIR
Our wedding will be a pig roast picnic with a white tent where we will have dinner, with simple white lights and a dance floor for cutting a rug later, and ultimately… protection from the sun, heat, or any inclement weather!
Weather-permitting, Chris and I will be sharing our vows outside, standing in the “apple orchard” a sweet little grove of 3 apple trees on the east side of the beautifully manicured lawn in front of the tent. You can place your chairs wherever you would like in front of our tree-side ceremony location! There will be no assigned seating – this is picnic, sit wherever you like! After we say “I do” we will all be family anyway!
ATTIRE
This is a picnic, as such there is no need for formal-wear. Be comfortable! Khakis’ and Cargo pants and shorts are welcome!
