The story....

January 2017 Andrew promised Kylie a full week of solid vacation. The only place she could think of to get him away from work? A cruise to the Bahamas. On the trip, he got her a beautiful Zultanite ring- not a promise or engagement ring, just a cool piece of jewelry with a badass color-changing stone.

Fast forward to 4 months later, Andrew has the perfect plan to propose. He'd commissioned a custom piece by a metal-working artist (whom they also discovered on the cruise) and was planning on proposing in the most public, embarrassing way possible. All he had to do was wait...and wait... until finally, in November, he discovered a paperwork error. The piece had not even been started yet (it finally arrived... 4 months after their engagement). He struggled to find a plan B.

Luckily for him, around that time the ring he bought in January broke from daily wear. So he took it to "get fixed" and had them re-set the stone in an engagement ring- receiving it just in time to propose on New Years Day.

The Reception....

The reception on land will be held at the Mirage Sports Bar on October 13th, 3 PM. Semi-formal attire required (no jeans or shorts, please). Buffet and cash bar provided. Please RSVP to kdbowen324@gmail.com by September 28. We're going Havana Nights, so we'll see you! in C-U! B-A!

The registry...

We are fortunate to have family and friends celebrate our union on land and sea. Our home is very nearly complete and we are grateful for all we have. That being said, we have set our registry up as follows:
