Greetings!

Welcome to our wedding site! We're excited to have you here.

This where you'll get the scoop on everything including:

- our stunning venue

- our sunset schedule

- our band that promises to get even the most curmudgeonly on to the dance-floor

- where to stay, and (since so many of you asked)

- what we ultimately decided to do for our registry.

If you have questions at all, or if you'd just like a natter, you can always email or call. We'd love to connect with you.

With all the love in the world,

Bob & Jane xx

UPDATE, SCHEDULE & INFO FOR THE WEDDING DAY:
We have been avidly watching the forecast in the hope of a beautiful, apple-picking Fall day, but since this is not to be, we have decided to move the ceremony inside to the 3rd floor. Despite the weather, Fall colors peak this weekend and we'll have a great view of them from the stunning picture window overlooking the Capitol.

Champagne reception
Champagne and hors d'oeuvres will be served right after the ceremony on the 2nd floor. This will be the unofficial “line-up” time where we will attempt to greet as many of you as we can in 45 mins.

Main reception
At 7.15pm we'll all head upstairs again for a heavy app buffet, live music, dancing, photo-booth, coffee-station, toasts, cake and of course, profiteroles.

Timing of the event
5.45pm Doors open; head upstairs to the 2nd floor rotunda
6.00pm Start taking seats for ceremony on the 3rd floor
6.15pm Ceremony starts

Band
We're delighted to announce that the legendary Bluewater Kings have agreed to be our band for the night. So dust off your dance-shoes and bring your best Hustle, Swing, Argentine Tango or any old 80's disco routine ... and show us what you've got!

Dress code
Several peeps have asked us about dress code. We’ll be dressed up of course - and hope you will be too! We’re thinking semi-formal or cocktail attire. No tuxes, but feel free to wear a kilt if you have one or glam it up in your posh frocks, pantsuits and hats!

Parking
We are covering parking for the event but encourage you to Uber to really enjoy your night, especially since we are also covering premium wine and beer at the bar. (You’ll be funding your own tequila).

Cloakroom
There is a cloakroom on the first floor to the right of the rotunda when you come in where you can leave your overcoats, snow-shoes and rubber boots (unless you want to dance in them).

Gifts
We will have a basket for cards on the 2nd floor. In lieu of gifts we are inviting contributions to a piece of artwork for our home. Please scroll down or click the "Registry" tab at the top of the page for more details.

Accommodation
We have listed five hotels above as the best options for places to stay.
- Hyatt Place is our first recommendation as the newest and nicest hotel with views of the river and is a short Uber-ride from the venue.
- The Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn are the closest to the venue (a short uphill walk or a 2 min Uber-ride) but there is a Wild game happening on the same night so the area and the hotels will be very crowded.
- The Embassy Suites is a block from our apartment and from a great grocery store, and a short Uber-ride to the venue.
- The Doubletree is the cheapest option in downtown St Paul and is a short walk from our apartment and a short Uber-ride to the venue.
Nothing is very far in Minneapolis/St Paul, however, so you may wish to stay further away and take an Uber.

We’re so excited you can join us and look forward to a really fun evening! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to shout. We're just a little busy so may not get back to you right away but will do our best.

Otherwise, we will see you on Saturday night!!

Much love,

Jane and Bob xxx
