We will host a small welcome reception beer and wine hour at Tommy Joe's (7940 Norfolk Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814) on May 3, 2019 from 6-8pm. It's a sports bar, so dress accordingly (but Erin will still use this as an excuse to dress up). Enter through the street level and go up one floor. All are welcome!
The reception is very close to the ceremony, so Uber or Lyft will be good options in a city with little parking. There is also a parking garage on Veazy Terrace near the building. The garage closes at 10PM but is free with validation from the Giant grocery store.

The reception will be located in the Van Ness-UDC area of Forest Hills in Northwest DC, which is on the red metro line. We will have buffet-style catering with vegetarian options.
Please note that the ceremony is outside and weather is unpredictable, so pack an umbrella! We will be on the grass with picnic tables and blankets, so keep that in mind when planning outfits and footwear.
"Dress code" is business casual, but come as dressed up or down as you'd like (it can be fun to dress up, but we want everyone to be comfortable!).
We are not having a wedding party. However we would like to thank Erin's nieces Angela and Zoe and her nephew Beckett for joining the ceremony as well as her brother Scott for walking her down the aisle. But a special thanks to Brinn. Not only did he introduce us all those years ago and has continued to be one of our closest friends, but he will also officiate the ceremony.
