Here is a little story from both of us about how we met.

Bryan:

January 1, 2015 at 12:30 a.m., Lauren walked through the front door of my childhood home with mutual friends. I was on winter break from grad school, and didn’t know it yet but I just meet the love of my life. We talked for hours that morning until she finally left. Later that week we exchanged telephone numbers and we spent the next 6 months getting to know each other from afar. Over the next few months I found myself falling in love with this young, intelligent, goal oriented woman who was confident and sensitive.

Lauren:

Bryan graduated in May 2015, got a job and moved back home to Pittsburgh. As soon as Bryan got back we started seeing each other all the time. I quickly knew this was someone that I could spend the rest of my life with. Before we knew it, New Years Eve 2017 was approaching and we decided to take a weekend trip to Niagara Falls to bring in the New Year. Our first day was spent visiting a handful of wineries and going to dinner at Vineland Estate Winery, where Bryan had made reservations. We spent the first day visiting a handful of wineries. Bryan made dinner reservations at Vineland Estate to round off a perfect day. When we arrived for dinner there was only one other table of people seated in the restaurant. As we enjoyed our meal and company, the other table un-noticeably left, leaving the whole restaurant to us. I went to the restroom and returned just in time for our entries to arrive. Little did I know, that it had been just enough time for Bryan to run to the car and get the ring. Our meals were finished and cleared; there was snow falling outside and Christmas music playing softly. Bryan got down on one knee and told me how much he loved me and asked me to be is wife. On December 29, 2016 we were engaged!
