We still can't gather for a celebration and are working to re-reschedule the party for the middle of next year. Right now the June 5, 2021 date is just a guess - the venue we originally had planned on using is closed and we're not sure when we'll be able to rebook - but we'll keep you all posted.

Greetings!
Hello Friends and Family,
Thanks to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we got married in a very private ceremony - it was just the two of us! - on March 20, 2020 and then got legally married via WebEx in June. We're still working to reschedule the wedding celebration and will post the updated party details here as soon as we've got details sorted out.
Fortunately, French Polynesia is open to American tourists (we just have to take a COVID-19 test before we depart and then four days after we arrive) so we've still on for the rescheduled honeymoon from October 31 to November 11. The travel details have adjusted slightly but we were able to keep the same trip package, so the wish list below remains up to date. If you want to contribute to our dream honeymoon please feel free to peruse the items below.

Hi all, just wanted to let you know that we exchanged vows in the midst of the pandemic. Okay, so our marriage license is locked away - unregistered - in DC Superior Court, which has been closed since March 17th but the paperwork will get finalized once we have successfully flattened the curve and are able to begin to ease the social distancing measures a tiny bit. But for all intents and purposes, March 20, 2020 is our anniversary date (any paperwork that says otherwise be damned)!
We've worked with the reception venue, caterer, DJ and photographer to reschedule our reception date to 9/12/2020. We hope that we can see you all there as originally planned but we know that some form of social distancing measures still may be needed, so we'll keep everyone posted via updates to this page as we find out more information.

Hi all, in light of CDC’s recommendation to postpone gatherings in excess of 50 people and DC Mayor Bowser’s emergency order that limits nightlife and event space gatherings, we can’t in good conscious hold our wedding reception this Saturday evening. So, we’re going to have to postpone the event.
We’re still planning on getting married this Friday but will work with the Lofts at 600 F Street and the caterer and DJ to reschedule the celebration for later this year. As soon as we have the new date worked out, we'll post an update here.
For now, we're still planning on departing for the honeymoon on May 1st. But, like everything else right now, that is subject to change.

Hi, just a quick update - we're still having the reception Saturday eve. We'll ask everyone to refrain from hugs & kisses at the party (elbow bumps are the new thing!) and, if you're not feeling well on the 21st, please don't attend. We completely understand if you're not comfortable traveling/gathering right now, so please just let us know if you won't be participating. Much love to you all!

The honeymoon deposit is in!! We'll head to French Polynesia on May 1st and will land back in DC on May 13th. Four nights on Moorea, four nights in Bora Bora and two nights on Tahiti...we can't wait!
