We kindly ask that you use the chauffeur service :) The venue is a private residence and we need all the space there is for vendors. Thank you for letting us provide your to-and-from ride and making our wedding day easy breezy!

Things to do:
We hope you'll make your trip to the Butte a vacation. Activities to look into include:
1. Hiking - places very close to Crested Butte include the Slate River Valley (Oh-Be-Joyful falls, Democrat Basin), Gothic (visit the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory, Judd Falls), and Irwin (Irwin lake and Scarp Ridge - a great yet steep hike but gets you epic views).
2. Mountain biking (Slate River, on the ski mountain, and the famous 401 which you access through Gothic)
3. Fly fishing (Gunnison and Taylor River)
4. Floating the Gunnison and Taylor River (http://scenicrivertours.com/place/gunnison-river-trips/)
Places to eat:
1. The Secret Stash - gourmet pizzas, after a long backpacking trip we get what we call the "happy meal" - Stash Fries, Cokes, and the Mac Daddy (basically a big mac pizza).
2. The Last Steep - a local favorite with a large menu and a bunch of dishes under $10.
3. Sunflower Supper - want a special treat/date night - make a reservation ahead of time and enjoy our favorite date night eatery that serves locally-sourced ingredients.
4. Lil's - sushi and Japanese fare, another favorite of ours for date night
5. Paradise Cafe - our fav breakfast treat
6. Wildflour bakery - check their website for hours, the crossiants taste like they do in France and they have a variety of treats (cookies, cinnamon rolls, quiche, etc.)
Places to hang out and grab a drink:
1. Montanya Rum Distillery - enjoy local distilled rum and nibbles to accompany the drink of your choice.
2. The Dogwood Cocktail Cabin - the local mixology cocktail bar - warning the drinks are strong.
3. The Princess Wine Bar - everything from wine to tequila and nibbles.
4. The Brick - a great patio to soak up rays while enjoying the largest beer menu in the Butte and 32 beers on tap. A local fav for apres biking or hiking beers.
Clothing
We'll be celebrating at around 9,000 feet in elevation so it can get chilly even in the summer. We'll have tent heaters but if you think you may want something to keep you warm once the sun goes down please be sure to do so. We want you to be comfortable and able to celebrate with us without being chilly. We also recommend throwing a rain jacket in your suitcase just in case you may need it.

Updates
Last year in about a week we got engaged overlooking the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers. Last week we stood at the confluence overlook from the last remaining side - from the north in Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands National Park. Now back at home, we're starting to wrap up much of the planning and have added more info to this page. As always, don't hesitate to reach out with questions. We recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible as things will fill up.
