Our adventure begins as we face the world together as a newlywed couple. August 11th, 2018 we are boarding a plane and heading to Rome, Italy after our wedding reception for our honeymoon. After spending a few days in Rome we will be boarding a Cruise ship and will be sailing the Mediterranean and visiting Spain, France and other cities in Italy.

One of our priority missions for our future marriage is to use our gifts to help others. We have both been blessed with the gift to care for others and we have been blessed with the education to be a paramedic and a future nurse. Something that comes with this mission is that we must first take care of ourselves before we can take care of others. This is one of many reasons why we have decided we want to treat ourselves to this honeymoon to be replenished not only physically but also spiritually to help carry out our mission together.

Our story:

Russell and I met my sophomore year in high school shortly before he graduated. We remained good friends but it wasn't long before God began to draw back the curtain and I began to see Russell in a different light. I saw the way he so sweetly cared for his family and friends and would drop anything to help someone in need. I admired his passion and tenderness for helping others. Before I knew it I was head over heels for Russell Carter and discovering that he was the one whom my soul desires. We started dating as Russell was starting his education in emergency medicine. I graduated high school and we both left our hometowns in DFW. I resided in Houston for college and he moved to Austin to start his career in EMS and continue education. To this day Russell has held up to his promise of visiting me at least once every month. I now live in DFW where I attend nursing school full time. Russell is now a Licensed Paramedic and recently moved to Houston for a wonderful job opportunity. We are getting married August 11, 2018. I'm still so in awe that God created me to be this man's partner for life. Russell is my every answered prayer and my greatest gift.
