True story: ever since Ianthe heard about the Jesus Tree of Malta when she was a 4th grader at Maria Regina Primary School in Trinidad, she's always dreamed of visiting the Island. And luckily she's convinced Adam to make this their honeymoon destination!
Nestled between Sicily and the North African coast in the Mediterranean Sea, the island nation of Malta is known for its picturesque beaches, numerous fortresses, megalithic temples, the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum, a subterranean complex of halls and burial chambers dating to circa 4000 B.C., and of course, the Jesus Tree, which admittedly is not as impressive to a 27-year-old as it is to a 9-year-old.
