Norway & Morzine

We originally planned to travel to Norway for a two week trip straight after the wedding, however, as the last year didn’t exactly go to plan, we’ve had a bit of a re-think. 

We are still going on our Norwegian adventure, but we are now doing this for one week rather than two where, instead of travelling so much, we will spend more time exploring the arctic circle.

Our plan is to fly into Tromso, ‘The Paris of the North’, and upon arrival we have a cruise booked to venture out into the frozen fjords which could give us our first opportunity to see the Northern Lights. Then after exploring Tromso, we are travelling even further north towards the Lyngen Alps where we have a whole host of activities planned including husky dog sledding, snow mobile treks and ski touring!

The second part of the honeymoon was originally planned to be a week's skiing in a Norwegian resort, however we decided that we wanted to do something sooner and instead broke our honeymoon into two trips. So instead, we have booked a Chalet in Morzine for a week of skiing in January and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than on the slopes.
