This entry is from our Expert Guest series where wedding and honeymoon professionals share their best tips on creating memories that last a lifetime.
Couples already have a lot on their plate when it comes to the wedding, so we have compiled a collection of our favorite honeymoon products to make packing easy and celebrating their once in a lifetime trip unforgettable!
Our Favorite Honeymoon Products
1) A QALO ring
The QALO ring is hands down a favorite amongst newly married men because it’s perfect for traveling and avoiding losing that new wedding band. Even women are digging the silicon wedding band for the honeymoon since it’s ideal to wear while swimming, hiking, snorkeling, during spa days and other Honeymoon activities they plan to experience. It’s such a hit we included it in our new Happy Honeymoon Gift Box!
We love a cute pair of shades to rock the all-natural look on your honeymoon. What’s even better than some stylish sunnies is a pair that gives back to a cause while you’re at it! It can feel overwhelming to pay all the wedding vendors and honeymoon travel expenses so when you’re buying something practical (like sunglasses) it lessens the sting when you are giving to a charity too! We specifically love Diff Eyewear because each pair of Diff sunglasses sold provides a pair of reading glasses to Eyes on Africa. Amazing right?
3) A Good Read
Have a good go to read for traveling and down time. One of our personal favorites and on the Best Sellers list is The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman. It’s informative and an easy read as a couple launches into marriage!
4) Wet Bikini Bag
Whether you are traveling to a tropical destination or not, chances are you will be packing a swimsuit for a late night Jacuzzi session or beach day. To avoid dampening your dry clothes pack a wet bag from the Honeymoon Essentials Box or your wet bikini or personal items.
5) Travel Card For Your Love
There is never a better time to write down what you absolutely love and adore about your new husband or wife. Sometime during your trip, write a card to your loved one listing all the things that you have enjoyed together on your honeymoon and/or specific qualities you love about him or her. Save it in a safe place and have them open on your first wedding anniversary! There are a handful of gorgeous travel themed cards out there like this one from Type Shy Shop.
Heather Vaughn, Founder and Marriage Proposal Planner at The Yes Girls, started The Yes Girls after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder because she loved the idea of helping guys propose in completely personalized and romantic ways.
