Hi! I’m Martine Dardignac, owner of The Capable Bride. When I started this business, I had one clear goal: make wedding planning easier. I realize that sometimes wedding planning is an equal partnership between the couple getting married, or that it’s not just the bride who is responsible for planning. However, what I saw, was that it does tend to fall 90% of the time essentially to the bride.

The internet has scores of information, and if you’re just beginning to plan your wedding, it can be challenging to sort through it all. There will be opinions coming from all quarters, and you suddenly find yourself trying to keep everyone happy. On top of that, there’s still a rather steep learning curve to get to all the details you’ll need to plan your wedding the way that you intended. I’ve seen friendships nearly crumble, and couples experience sever stress while wedding planning.
