A nonreligious, feminist, millennial wedding officiant for ALL couples and families in the metro Washington, D.C. area. Ready to make your big day memorable for all the right reasons! Joanna is married herself, and ended up with an elopement, formal wedding ceremony and separate reception to accommodate her family’s needs. This means Joanna has firsthand experience with all kinds of celebrations and is sensitive to the unique needs of each. She is ordained through American Marriage Ministries (AMM) and the Universal Life Church, and completed the Business of Officiating course from AMM. Joanna is also a member of the International Association of Professional Wedding Officiants (IAPWO) and is authorized to perform ceremonies in D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and West Virginia.
