Wish you were here

Due to the pandemic, we forged ahead with a very small and intimate wedding. It was held in the beautiful Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens with Matt’s parents as witnesses. We were blessed with a beautiful day, blue skies and a cool breeze. Luck was on our side as it had been storming everyday for a week before our wedding date. Our officiant, Gregory Kim, blessed us with the kindest and most encouraging words. We only hope our future is as green as the verdant Koolau mountains we wed under.

We didn’t want anyone to feel obligated to give gifts when we can’t host you all with a feast and revelry. And we hope you can forgive us for not having a wedding where our loved ones could be with us. We hope to see our friends and family as soon as it is safe to do so. We’d love to hear your news as we have been away from our friends and family for so long.
