The night that Aaron and Joanna met, she wooed him with a drunken rant about mollisols. Mollisols are a type of super fertile and carbon-rich soil that have been the foundation of every major bread basket in history. He didn't understand everything she said, but he knew then that she was as passionate about saving the world as he was. That night sparked their shared dream of owning land and rebuilding a lush, biodiverse landscape where there was no longer scarcity, suffering, and waste.

The single most incredible thing you can do for our new family is to help us secure land and build our homestead. We plan to have heritage breed chickens, cows, and horses. We will grow annual and perennial crops using aquaponic and permaculture techniques. We plan to host music festivals, weddings, and educational seminars. We cannot wait to host you all on our homestead for our ten year anniversary!
