Our story first began 7 years ago when we both joined Crossfit Atlantic, but we didn't really become "friends" until we both started a Greg Everett's Weightlifting program. During this time, there were many hours spent together developing our friendship as well as our love for Weightlifting.
Three and a half years ago on National Donut Day, we had one of our first official dates. Shortly after that, we had our first dinner at the Matanzas Innlet Restaurant which unfortunately was devastated by Hurricane Matthew and never reopened. Since then, we have traveled to Puerto Rico, Salt Lake City, Vegas, and multiple trips back to Wisconsin where Cassie's Family lives.
During these past years, we have lost our beloved, Sconnie, but have added two cats, Martha and Ernest, and two dogs, Kilos and Tilly, to our family. We even opened an Olympic Weightlifting gym together!
On December 24th, Louis decided to make things "really official" and proposed downtown Saint Augustine by the city Christmas Tree! Cassie obviously said "yes" surrounded by her Dad, Rich, Louis' children, Kailey and Ryder, his mom, Anne, and Cassie's best friend Megan.
We can't wait to continue this adventure!
