Greetings!
To our Family and Friends,
Monica and I got engaged on October 10th, 2018 in Honolulu Hawaii. Our original plan was to have a short engagement, followed by large wedding celebration with all of our family and friends in attendance. Over time, those plans changed and our engagement went from being short, to several years longer than we had wanted, due in no small part to the Covid-19 Pandemic. As things began to go back to normal, our plans to be married were back in earnest. Simply put, Monica and I are tired of not being married to each other.
While we still wanted that great big wedding, with all of our closest friends and family celebrating with us we know that the Pandemic isn't over yet. With the ever changing travel/large gathering restrictions, it's just not feasible. That being said, after a great deal of thought and consideration, Monica and I have decided to elope and get married in an intimate, and private ceremony this November. Our exchange of vows and the ceremony will be filmed and photographed and those will be shown to everyone when we have a larger, more traditional reception at a later date.
While this was a difficult decision for us to make, we do feel that it is what is best for us, and the journey through the rest of our lives that we seek to embark on. We hope for and appreciate the understanding and support of those closest to us.
Monica and I are lucky to already have a home full of everything we need, but if you are so inclined please feel welcome to check out our Honeyfund donation page. We've created this page where you leave comments for the happy couple in our Guest Book, and if you can, contribute funds to our dream honeymoon and/or helping us start our married life out on the right track!
Thanks for visiting our page and we can't wait to share our joyous celebration with you at our reception in the not too distant future!
