We are honored you will share in our special day. Your presence is our gift! But since you made it this far, you may be feeling even more generous. For that we are greatly appreciative!

With not only our WEDDING coming up, but also Emily's impending graduation from nursing school, we have so much to celebrate. What better way to commemorate both occasions with a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Africa? Emily has dreamed of an African Safari since she was 4 years old, and Brian is thrilled to adventure anywhere that work will never bring him - so Africa it is!

As fate would have it, ChadTough's annual auction in 2020 included a trip for 2 to an all-inclusive safari resort in South Africa. ChadTough is a cause near and dear to Brian's heart, born in back when he was a student at UM in 2014 when Chad Carr (grandson of legendary Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr) was diagnosed with DIPG, the most common brainstem tumor in kids. Chad's legacy lives on through this organization which is doing incredible work to raise awareness and funds to research DIPG. Brian hasn't taken off his orange ChadTough bracelet in over six years now, and you'll see it on our big day too. If you know what a ChadWink is, this is ours - we were THRILLED to win not only to embark on this incredible adventure, but to find a way to make that happen through a deserving cause.

We're planning a trip to the Blue Canyon Conservatory just outside of the Kruger National Park after a few days exploring Cape Town. The itinerary so far includes plenty of wildlife encounters, nature immersion, and new experiences in and around a few different cities across South Africa. We promise to share pictures along the way!
