My beautiful friends,

As all of you know, Maira and I finally got married in July after a 2-year wait for the pandemics to slow down. Since the proposal in 2019, we have dreamed with a super celebration in Rio that would bring together all amazing people that we have met around the world to the people that we grew up with, our family and childhood friends. Unfortunately, after postponing our plans a couple of times and with the passing of Maira’s dad to this treacherous disease, we have decided to cancel the wedding and leave our celebration for a later time, when things are finally considered “normal” again in the world and in our hearts.

Apart from the circumstances, we made sure to enjoy EVERY MOMENT of the day where we finally signed the papers. We did a photo-shooting around Copenhagen and did a live broadcast of the signature ceremony with both our families. Even in these circumstances, we can both say that the 24th of July was the happiest day of our lives.

Many of you have reached out to me and Maira kindly asking how you could give a wedding gift to us. So we discovered this funding our honeymoon website and thought this could be the most amazing gift to receive from our family and friends from abroad. Thank you for being part of our lives and for contributing to this amazing moment we are about to live.
