Hello friends and family,

Our original plan was to travel Italy by train however due to the uncertainty of Covid we’ve decided to explore the UK by train.

Our adventure starts with The Caledonian Sleeper Train leaving London on the evening of 24th August and arriving in Fort William on 25th August.

Our adventure will take in the sights of the Scottish Highlands, The Lakes, The Historic Settle to Carlisle Railway before venturing inland to childhood favourites such as Derbyshire & Oxford, before enjoying a day at Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) for Amy to pretend to be Lady Mary for the day…

We’ll then venture south to Bournemouth and spend time with Matt (Jonathan’s brother) before travelling west via St Ives ending up in Penzance. From Penzance we then travel to London by way of the Night Riveria Sleeper Train into Paddington Station.

We end our two week adventure with 3 days in London taking in the sights catching up with theatre friends and of course seeing theatre shows including Moulin Rouge and ending our honeymoon where our engagement first started with the musical Come From Away.

Our honeymoon is in part funded by Jonathan’s dearly departed Grandma who always made sure Jonathan had little adventures and treats. But if you’re able to help support elements of our adventure we’d really appreciate the kind gesture.
