As you are getting ready to depart for the ceremony or reception, please reference your invitation as it is our wish to have a private ceremony.
Galena, IL is a very busy town with lots to do so it's definitely worth a weekend visit! That being said, it can book quickly with hotels. This is why we did not provide one hotel option for accommodations. You can choose to book any hotel/Airbnb in Galena or the surrounding area (Dubuque, IA or Stockton, IL). In order to promote safe travels before and after the festivities, there will be bus transportation that goes to/from the Stoney Creek Inn in Galena, IL to Oak Hill Farm. Stoney Creek Inn is centrally located in Galena so it is a short Uber/Lyft from other hotels that you may choose to stay at.
Here is the list of shuttle times that will travel between the venue and Stoney Creek Inn (will load on front street of hotel):
2:50pm: departure from hotel to venue for PRIVATE ceremony (please check
invite)
4:30pm: departure from hotel to venue for reception
9:30pm: departure from venue to hotel (early option)
11:00pm: departure from venue to hotel
If you bring your vehicle to the venue (and maybe have a bit too much to drink), no worries! You are able to leave your vehicle at the venue overnight, but you MUST pick-up your vehicle prior to 11am on Saturday.
