Suriname? Where's that?!? We decided we wanted to go somewhere unusual for our honeymoon and this country has it all!
Suriname is the smallest country in South America and one of the most ethnically diverse countries in all of the Americas. We will be spending a few days in the capital city Paramaribo eating at all the different food markets and seeing the architectural sights in the inner city, a UNESCO world heritage site. After that we will be heading into the wilderness. 94% of the country is amazon rainforest and we are really looking forward to exploring and relaxing in the jungle. Thank you for supporting our love and our love of travel, this trip will be our biggest adventure yet!!
