SALOON / AFTER-PARTY UPDATE:
To those planning to attend the after-party: The after-party will be held in the Saloon between 11:00 pm and 1:00 am, and is strictly a BYOB event. If you wish to attend, you must drop off your supplies prior to the wedding or upon checking into the hotel if you are an overnight guest. If you are not attending the rehearsal or staying in the 1880, you can coordinate with the bride and groom / the wedding party to bring some extra supplies for you. Be sure to reach out and let us know if you plan to attend the afterparty and what your drink of choice is.

MASK POLICY: Santa Barbara County (which includes Los Alamos) does currently mandate masks in any indoor public setting. Overnight guests and the wedding party are mostly exempt, though during the rehearsal and the reception ALL GUESTS will need to mask up when coming in and out of the lobby area or to use the restrooms. The venue does provide masks and hand sanitizer; guests are always welcome to bring their own if they would prefer to do so. For the afterparty, you do not need to wear a mask while actively drinking, but when you get up to leave / go to the restroom / speak to the bartender please put your mask back on (this is similar to the rules / mask etiquette when going out for indoor dining in California).

Hi all! I was asked a question by one of our guests, and I wanted to share with everyone. Our wedding is taking place OUTDOORS in the garden area. We will provide disposable masks upon arrival. When going inside the building to use the restrooms or check out the lobby, please wear your masks (as of right now, those are the rules for the county). Outdoors, we plan for masks to be optional. Be sure to bring something warm (jacket, coat, shawl) to wear for the evening as it can get cold at night. For the LADIES attending: avoid shoes with a spiked heel as you will be walking on grass some of the time.

Feel free to text us any questions or concerns!

ATTENTION GUESTS: We are officially requiring that all of our guests over the age of 12 be vaccinated against Covid19 if you wish to attend our wedding. We do have some vulnerable family members (including small children) that will be attending, and we want everyone to be as protected as possible to minimize the risks to all our loved ones. Vaccination is the best protection available against Covid19. We also highly recommend that all guests get tested, wear a mask, and socially distance as much as possible the week prior to the wedding. We love all of you and we want everyone to be safe and healthy!

It was recently brought to our attention that all the hotels in Los Alamos are already booked for our wedding weekend (there is likely another event or wedding in the area). Rest assured there are some AirBnB stays left in Los Alamos, as well as options available in Buellton and Solvang (10-15 miles away from the venue). We have updated some links in the Wedding Details section; these are some of the stays that we recommend. As always, please email Georgia with any questions.

We will provide updates here for our guests about the Covid 19 guidelines for California and Santa Barbara County. As of May 5th, 2021, our venue is located in an Orange Tier, meaning it is still considered under moderate risk (see guidelines link for details). Our wedding will be hosted primarily outdoors in the hotel garden area, with some socializing in the hotel lobby. According to the CDPH, vaccinated persons may attend an indoor or outdoor event without a mask and without social distancing. Unvaccinated persons are still required to wear masks at social gatherings with mixed households when social distancing can’t be maintained, and are required to wear masks at all times except when eating or drinking. We highly recommend that our guests get vaccinated to protect themselves and our other guests, and so that we can all have an equally great time together! If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Georgia.
