Hello friends and family,

We are honored you will share in our special day. Though we have everything we need for our home it's our wedding we are saving up for and are wondering if you would like to help in any way. So instead of getting us the stereotypical wedding gift toaster, you could help us with one heck of a wedding! We know times are tough for everyone so if you can't we still love you all! If we can raise money, great! But we will make it work no matter what!

For those that don't know, here is how we came to be....

Well.  Let's start from the beginning.  There's this girl that takes a test in hopes of getting a job.  Boy takes the test too.  Along with at least 50 other people   They dont talk to eachother.  In fact, they don't know eachother.  So they wouldnt know this would be significant at all.  They are just focused on this test because there are only a limited amount of openings available.  Girl gets job.  Sadly, he doesn't.  Did I mention they were both married?  Not to eachother though.  She to a man she has known since she was 17.  He, to a gal who he knew since about that time too.  Why does this matter?  Because they had no idea that this test would be so important to their future.  They already had their lives planned out.  Everything was great, right? 

Fast forward like 6 months.  He gets the job!  His work station is actually next to hers.  Shortly after he starts working there her husband dies tragically and unexpected.  She, being so desperate for affection falls for a guy that ends up abusing her for the next 4 years.  She's lost. And at 35 years old after a knife to the throat she finally has the courage to leave him....She's done trying to find love in anyone but herself. 

But what about this guy she works with?  Well, after having 2 beautiful kids with his wife they decide to call it quits and now he is lost, too.  Timid and feeling like he won't ever be good enough for anyone else.  After all, she was his first and only love.  He was certain he would never find that again. Who could ever get that lucky twice?

One day the lost girl and the lost boy have a conversation about how he took his kids to see a movie the weekend before.  He then says how he would rather see an adult movie that he normally goes alone to do.  Her eyes light up and she tells him that if he ever needed a plus one she would be interested.  She was done isolating herself.  She hadn't gone out with friends in so long.  And she felt comfort when looking into his kind eyes. 

A few days later the boy comes over to her and says, "So, I was going to see that movie I was talking about, uh, do you want to go?"  And suddenly a huge smile came onto her face that she tried hiding as to not look too eager as she said, "sure, yeah just let me know when you want to go."  He walks away and she can't contain herself.   She knew in her heart this was somehow special.  And her life changed forever.  Because a little over a year later the boy asked her, "Would you say Yes if I asked you to Marry Me?"  While holding the most perfect and beautiful ring that she has ever seen that sparkled as much as the tears that were in both of their eyes.  So here we are.  Ready to be married and live our happily ever after.
