A quick note for any gift shipping. Our apartment has switched to a 3rd party delivery service which means our home address will not work for any USPS package deliveries. All normal letters work fine, but if you happen to purchase any gifts from out registry, please ship the this address.

Mailing the last of the in person invitations! Please let me know if you don't receive your invitation seeing as it looks like some have already been lost in the mail. Hence the second visit to the post office. Next up will be the virtual wedding invitations for all of our out of town family! What a day and age that we live in that we can all be together for this special day no matter our location. I am absolutely thrilled to be able to share this day with everyone that we love and hold dear!

We are so excited everything is starting to become real now! Evan and I just went down to the county clerk's office Friday to get our Marriage License! I didn't even realize until we left that we decided to grab the marriage license on Friday the 13th and getting married on Halloween....Ha! Are we the accidently spooky couple or what! didn't even plan it that way just happened! Well good thing that Friday the 13th has always been a good luck day for me!

So I've been getting a lot of questions from people about if they're going to need to wear a mask for covid reasons at the wedding. At this moment our venue is not requiring people to wear masks. Also I want to let everyone know that this entire event (aside from the cake cutting) will be outside. This is also a fairly small wedding with a guest count of about 60 people in total. That being said if any of my guests(s) feel more comfortable wearing a mask please by all means do so. I will continue to check with the venue for any health updates and will notify everyone as needed.

So you've found the perfect look for the wedding, but what shoes are good to wear for an outdoor wedding?
Well flats are always a good idea, but maybe they just aren't formal enough. No worries! Look for a heel that is chunky vs a stiletto, or even a wedge. That way you don't have to worry about becoming part of the lawn! If you just can't get away from wearing a stiletto heal, Amazon sells heel stoppers! The fit onto the end of your heel and claim to keep your heel from piercing the ground! I have never tried them before, however they are highly rated.

So it's a Masquerade Ball...Awesome! Now where do I find a fun mask for cheap?
Well we have had some really good luck on Amazon and Etsy! Amazon is great to find masks of all shapes and sizes at really great prices, with prime shipping. Then on the other hand Etsy is about the same cost but are more crafted masks, so if you are looking for something special, this is where I would turn. The other great thing about Esty is most of the masks are custom made so you can make sure you get the exact color your looking for.

Omg I'm going to this awesome wedding and I have nothing to wear!!!!
Girl I've got you don't worry! As any girl knows, there is a ton of shops to go buy formal gowns at. Sadly, they're not cheap and you might wear the dress twice...so now what? Well the clear answer is don't buy a dress...Rent It! Here are some trusted sites where you can rent beautiful formal gowns! They all offer a free second size (one bigger or smaller) to make sure that you have the perfect fit!

Guys don't think I forgot about you! Purchasing a tux is most likely not something that would appeal to most of the men I know. So once again, Rent it!
Here are three shops that I feel are pretty reliable when it comes to renting mens fashion:
Jos A Bank
Men's Wearhouse
The Black Tux
Now I know a few of you are wondering why didn't I add Al's Formal Wear. Well the answer is simple. I have personally known of too many times where they messed up orders or completely lost them. The last thing I want is for this wedding to be stressful for anyone. So I do not recommend going there.
