Family and friends,

In the fall of 2015, we both set out on an adventure—a study abroad program at the University of Oxford. This experience shaped our relationship and our love of travel. Little did we know that five years later we would be married.

As you know by now, we did not get married in the traditional way. Instead, we did it privately through the Santa Barbara courthouse. Our decision was driven by the realization that we did not want to invest the time, energy, and resources necessary to plan a wedding. All that mattered was that we wanted to be husband and wife!

We are setting up this honeymoon fund to continue our adventures (at a later date). We thought about setting up a registry, but we have lived together for three years and are honestly at capacity in our apartment. While we do not know exactly when or where, we hope to have a wonderful, international honeymoon!
