It is absolutely delightful that Deb and Valerie are getting married. Love prevails despite paths that they each took throughout their lives, some good and some treacherous.

You may be thinking about what to buy them to honour and celebrate their forever path together. Obviously, at their stage, they don’t need the usual, just starting out gifts.

Brenda and Joanne (Valerie’s sisters), along with Matt and Dan, thought of setting up a fund for them to allow them to go on a wonderful trip to Greece. You may wish to contribute.

Some details:

◦ The platform is through a reputable site called Honeyfund.com. We will send a link to you if you let us know that you are interested;

◦ Joanne and Brenda have set up a protected bank account where funds can be sent to make it easier. Unlike donating directly through Honeyfund, there is no commission on the money that you contribute;

◦ There will be categories to which you choose where you would like the money to be spent (e.g. hotel upgrades, lunches and dinners, flights between the islands, excursions, etc.). Deb and Valerie can then plan their own unique trip;

◦ All contributions will be anonymous - the amounts contributed will not be published to anyone else, other than Deb and Valerie at the appropriate time;

◦ We will plan on giving the gift, on behalf of all who contribute, at the wedding itself.

Obviously, this is TOP SECRET. Please don’t divulge the plan in any way to Deb and Valerie. We would like the gift to be a big surprise!
