Our wedding will be fairly non traditional, so please feel free to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Keep in mind that this will be both an outdoor and indoor event, so plan accordingly.

A "First Look" photoshoot will be taking place in the park at 2:00pm. This will be the first time we will be seeing each other that day, and will take place before the ceremony, so if you'd like to be involved in the First Look, please arrive to the park before 2:00pm.

The Ceremony will begin at 3:00pm, followed by family photos and a cocktail hour with outdoor games and snacks while the Bride, Groom and Bridal Party head out for their photoshoot.

Dinner and Reception are expected to begin around 5:30pm, with the Reception ending at 8:30pm.

Beer and Wine available from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.

Updates

Updated 3 years ago

Wabasis Lake Park has informed us that, due to Covid restrictions, we will most likely be unable to access the enclosed shelter house for our reception. Our event is still taking place at Wabasis Lake Park, but is now outdoor only, so be sure to bring something to cover up with in case it gets chilly!

For those who are no longer able to attend due to Michigan's gathering restrictions, we hope to have a celebration either later in the summer or in the spring/summer of 2022. Check back for updates!

Smaller Wedding:

Dear friends and family,

For the health of our loved ones and due to Michigan’s gathering restrictions, we have decided to downsize our wedding set to take place on May 29, 2021.

This was a difficult decision. We will miss the presence of those who can no longer make it and thank you for your love and understanding.

We hope to livestream the ceremony so you may join us virtually and we will update with more information.

Upper Peninsula Camping Road Trip

Road Trip to Tahquamenon Falls State Park, McLain State Park in the Keweenaw Peninsula, and back through the northern L.P. for Wilderness State Park.

Along the way we hope to visit Baltic and Craig, two ghost towns in the Keweenaw Peninsula, stop at as many waterfalls as possible on our drive between campsites, feed some deer at Deer Ranch, walk through Lakenenland, a roadside sculpture park, find fantastic places to eat, and do whatever else seems fun in the moment!
