We plan to explore Oregon for our honeymoon. We'll fly into Portland the Sunday after the wedding and spend a few days exploring the city, Mt. Hood and some wineries. Next we'll drive to Astoria, which is a small city on the coast and famous for the filming of The Goonies. We'll spend an afternoon & evening there walking around the small town, enjoying the dining and shopping. The next morning, we'll drive down to Cannon Beach to hike in Ecola State Park and see Haystack Rock. From there, we'll drive into McMinnville, which is considered "Oregon's Wine Country". Obviously, we plan to visit some wineries and enjoy the wonderful food the city has to offer. We will spend 2 nights there before making our way back to Portland for one more night before flying back to Atlanta on Sunday afternoon.
