Our dearest family and friends,
We are sending this message to all invited to our wedding - knowing some of you were able to attend and some of you were not. We’ve anxiously waited as our rescheduled wedding day approached, so excited to joyfully share our love and vows with the people we love most. We’ve been excited to hug you and dance with you and have the time of our lives. The wait has felt long. And, the closer we got, we’ve once again seen Covid numbers climb and circle in. Amit, again, tested positive for Covid. It seems to be unstoppable right now.
Our hope for our wedding day has always been about gathering with our people to share in this experience. Once again, it’s become heartbreakingly clear that the day we envisioned isn’t possible. It’s devastating to write this message…again. And, we’ve agonized over the next right steps. With each passing day we learned of new guests who did not feel safe traveling or gathering with others. We are, painfully, postponing once more. We ask that you understand we did not arrive here easily. We simply want to proceed in a way that feels safest and in line with the day we envision.
We have a new date - July 31, 2022. Please mark your calendars and know that (another) invitation will follow. We love you so big and anxiously await being with you, safely, soon.
