Hello to our wonderful friends and family,

We've finally decided on a wedding date, 14 months later!

We've decided to stop waiting on "things to calm down" with Covid-19 and we're going for it. On August 8, we'll have a quick virtual ceremony on the patio of our first date spot and a favorite restaurant we frequent, Roma Ristorante in the Rice Village area of Houston. We hope you'll tune in and send us your well wishes.

We'd love nothing more than to see you in person, hug you, and celebrate with you, but we want to remain responsible and careful given the climate with the pandemic. We plan to host a 1-year anniversary party where we can enjoy your company and toast with you at a party!

We're grateful to have many essential items in our home between the two of us and we'd like to cross off some bigger home improvement projects after we return from our honeymoon road trip. We'll be driving to the Great Smoky Mountains - along the way I'll get to see where Kevin grew up. We're excited to step away from the big city and enjoy nature. As most of you know, Kevin's job with a disaster relief company takes him out of town quite often for long stretches, so this time together is extra special!

Since we don't need the usual wedding registry items, we'd be grateful for any gifted contributions that will be put toward home improvement projects. The website is safe, secure, and easy. Feel free to contact us directly if you need more info about how it works.

𝐖𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐤! Being that we can't see you in real life, we'd love if you submitted a photo or video message for us to enjoy on the wedding day and far beyond. We'd love something as simple as a short selfie video with your cell phone.

On a "normal" day, we'd say we can't wait to see you on our wedding day, but the world is in a different state right now.
